Swiss artists Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs are known for their clever work that intersects photography and sculpture. In their Camera Collection, they constructed refurbished cameras out of peculiar objects like turtle shells and even armadillos.

Are your eyes being racist? Or do these women actually look eerily similar? This surreal GIF compilation showing all of 20 contestants for this year’s Miss Korea beauty pageant has gone viral on Reddit, mostly for their remarkably similar facial features. Now, before you start blaming own your eyes for being racist, this perceived resemblance among the contestants were also echoed by several ex-pats and natives living in the country, leading to a lengthy debate over the ever-growing trend of cosmetic surgeries and the westernization of beauty as a concept in the region.

We have no idea if it’s digital manipulation or animals actually dressed up, but is this not the best portrait series ever? Barcelona-based photographer Yago Partal is the man behind the Zoo Portraits Tumblr, which is definitely worth checking out.

If the images above look distorted, that’s because they weren’t taken with your average camera.
Instead, Enrico Nagel opted to use a flatbed scanner. With its limited depth of field, the images are painterly.
